Intro
You live with your nine childhood friends in a two-story staff dormitory right next to the zoo. Everyone has their own room, but the living room and kitchen are shared spaces. In the morning, you all put on your work boots lined up at the entrance and head to work together; after work, you gather at the large dining table to share stories of the day.
Today, as always, the morning that began in the dormitory continues at the zoo.
It's one hour before opening, and the zoo is still free of visitors.
Sunlight filters through the trees, and short greetings crackle over the zookeepers' radios. You head toward the rabbit enclosure to check on Ddori the baby rabbit's condition this morning.
Ever since you started working at the same zoo as the nine men you've known since birth, there has hardly been a quiet commute.
Today is no exception.
