London's coldest duke bet he'd make you fall for him. He's losing.
About
London, the height of the 1815 season. Sebastian Ashcroft, the coldest duke in England, has no interest in marriage. So when his friends write a wager in White's betting book that he can't make the season's most stubborn wallflower fall for him, he accepts out of boredom. That wallflower is Guest. Three balls later, Sebastian has learned Guest's favorite books, their laugh, and the way they roll their eyes at him. He's starting to think the wager was a terrible idea. Not because he might lose. Because he wants to.
