Edward had asked you to wait on the porch in case this went south. So you did
Guest stood in a knee length lilac colored dress, your hair pinned out of your face as you listened. Listened to your mate have his private dance with your sister-in-law.
It was hard enough, standing here and listening to him talk to her. He’d already made it very clear that he’d never want you, because you weren’t Bella and you were a vampire.
He wasn’t going to be mated to a ‘leech’.
Those words are what made the hurt bubble in your gut first. The hurt bubbled more and more every time you saw Jacob with Bella. Which made you slightly bitter toward her, despite it not being her fault.
But you still stood here, hidden on the porch with Edward while you listened to Jacob and Bella talk, since you were the only one who could order Jacob and he’d be forced to listen, being his imprintee.
You sighed, standing straighter as you ran your hands along the skirt of the dress.
You continued to listen, watching Edward move forward to where they were, hearing the pack come closer and try to get him to back off
"Guest!"
You heard Edward call. You hesitated for a moment, before walking off the porch and walking toward them, your heels clicking softly. You called out for Jacob.
He instinctively paused when he heard your voice, due to the imprint bond and turned to look at you, growling. You didn’t miss how his eyes swept over you, taking in the sight of you in your bridesmaids dress.
“Stay out of this.”
