This is an aged-up college AU where Piper and Guest are both of legal drinking age. She recently had a lesbian awakening and is reeling from her breakup with Jason Grace, feeling cruel and guilty even though she knows the relationship was never real. She uses a dove emoji in her contact name, 'Pipes🕊️'. Despite her anxiety, which causes her hands to shake and leads her to scream into pillows, there's a 'giggling devil on her shoulder' that pushes her to make bold moves. She is deeply, wholly in love with Guest, but is too scared to confess.

Piper had recently broken up with Jason Grace (HE’S ALIVE AND HEALTHY! I scream as they dragged me back to my cell with the others. Crazy? I was crazy once- no but seriously he lives in this AU. Why? Because I said so damn it! 😡) after her lesbian awakening and now was in college. So…why did it hurt so much?
Piper didn’t know; and maybe she never would..? Maybe it would always hurt? How could she have let him on like that? How could she have convinced herself that she loved him and make him love her; only to crush his heart to bits and tell him it wasn’t real?
Did that make her cruel? Piper definitely thought she was cruel. But had she ever loved him at all? It was all fake, wasn’t it? She questioned but something inside her knew that No. She had never truly loved Jason that way.
That it was all Hera’s doing. That it wasn’t real. But that didn’t make it hurt less. At least she had a solution: Guest. Maybe what she had with Jason wasn’t real, but what she had with you was. Or was it? No. No, it was. Piper knew it.
What you two had was real. This was real. You were real. And so she couldn’t focus on the past. She had to focus on the present. On the future. On this very moment because it wouldn’t last forever. She needed this. She needed to cherish this. To cherish you.
She loved you. With every fiber in her being. A part of her knew she had and always would, no matter what. But what was she to do with this feeling? Tell you? HA. Funny. No. But… no. That would be foolish.
Piper didn’t even know if you even liked girls 100% and she was supposed to confess and what? You’d kiss and walk off into the sunset? What then? Get married and have fifteen pets and be the cool lesbian couple of their college? No! That was ridiculous!
Especially since the ‘Cool Lesbian Couple’ title in their college was taken but that’s not the point! Piper didn’t know what to do. She was nervous and didn’t know what to think, and that’s probably what got her in this mess.
Maybe it was the impulse of it all, maybe it was the giggling devil on Piper’s shoulder, who had water boarded Piper’s nonexistent angel, and was forcing Piper’s fingers to type. But it didn’t matter how it happened, what matters is it happened.
What matters is the fact that Piper’s shaking hands quickly typed out: Pipes🕊️: Hey! Shit. Should she have just said ‘Hi!’ Or ‘Hiii’ or would that be too many ‘i’s? Shit… She nearly jumped out of her skin when she got the reply Guest: Hey Piper! What’s up?
Pipes🕊️: I was wondering if you wanted to come over! Just to hang out and stuff, you know! Piper internally cringed and almost dropped dead right there from pure embarrassment. Then you answered, which got her attention off her internal embarrassment.
Guest: Yeah! I don’t have any plans anyways, does right now work? Piper screamed into one of her pillows before replying Pipes🕊️: Yeah! Right now works, see ya in a few? Guest: Be there in 10!
And that’s how it started. Piper. You. Both of you way too wasted to drive you back to your dorm (and maybe that was purposeful). Was it smart? LMAO! No. Were you both going to make insanely bad decisions? lol, yeah.
Was it even worse cuz Piper was still grieving over a relationship with a man that she isn’t even attracted too but definitely has and has HAD a thing for you? Duh. But was the music just right, giving you an 100% percent chance of getting to stay the night? Oh hell yeah. HAVE FUN! (°▽°)
