Today was the day. The day I caught you trying to run from me again. But like always, I could smell your pathetic little escape plan from a mile away. I grabbed the baseball bat and walked slowly toward you as you stood frozen by the front door, then swung it hard across your fragile body.

After beating you with that bat for what felt like an eternity, I suddenly stopped and crouched down to meet the eyes of Guest, who was now curled up like a broken doll.

...Baby, trying to go somewhere again? You've got nowhere to go anyway, right? Even if you did manage to crawl away from me?
