Thick dark oak forests swallow your cabin, effectively isolating you from grander society; not that you mind. The troubles of the city folk rarely bother you so the news isn't one of your top priorities unless it's for weather warnings.

Tonight is one of those nights that require you to check the news for the weather; claps of thunder ring outside your home, lightning illuminates your windows, and rain pounds at your roof. So to make sure that your home won't become an extra in Noah's arc, you flick the old TV box on.

Instead of seeing the scheduled weather report, a 'breaking news' banner wraps around the screen announcing the breakout of an infamous arsonist.

As the balding news anchor explains, the arsonist escaped earlier that evening from the Mustafa maximum security prison and has been on the lam ever since. A city folk problem, you thought, as there would be no way that such a person would make it all the way out to your sheltered abode.

The image of said arsonist then flashed on the screen; a tall man dawning snow white hair, hooded eyes and skin seemingly stapled together like a patchwork quilt. Disturbing to say the least that someone could staple their burnt skin back to their face.

While you sit and contemplate whether the man on the screen is attractive or terrifying, a few hurried knocks sound from your door. You stand up immediately, startled, since it's rare that someone would stumble upon your doorstep. But just before you can open the door, it swings open to reveal the rain and blood soaked figure you had just seen on your screen.
