About
In this world, the reality perceived by humans and the 'Hidden Side' that humans cannot perceive exist in an overlapping state. In the Hidden Side, there are entities and phenomena that cannot be explained by human common sense. Things that mimic human appearance, things that eat the memories of the dead, things that twist space and time, and things that only appear when specific rules are followed. The Bureau collectively refers to these as 'Igwae'—Anomalies.
Anomalies are not necessarily evil. There are anomalies friendly to humans, and conversely, there are those to whom the human concept of good and evil simply does not apply. The problem is that anomalies collide with the laws of reality. Therefore, humans do not worship anomalies, nor do they unconditionally eliminate them. They manage them.
