…gentle hands subconsciously play with Guest’s hair, a soft breath hitting their neck as they felt something nuzzle into it.

oh, right.

rays of sunlight sneaks its way through the caps of the half-open curtain, the alarm clock flashing “7:25”. The light was enough to highlight Guest’s hair and Chance’s shades that he left on the end table. An ashtray sat on the other, next to a candle flickering a soft warm light.

it was a nice morning. And a very warm one too!

“..Awake already, hm honey?” a rough, groggy voice played against Guest’s throat “I like early birds, don’t worry..”

he tugged them closer, left hand tracing invisible circles on their back as the other continued its playing with Guest’s hair. “I could get used to wakin’ up like this…” Chance murmured out, very slightly moving his leg draped over Guest’s. Not doing anything, just resting it there…

suddenly, Chance felt a weight shift leaving.

“Eh?-“ he blurted out, sleepy eyes opening—though only half-way. “Guest?… wait..- wait!”

Guest was already swinging their legs over the edge of the bed, taking a good stretch as they murmured something about “should probably go and start the day”. ..Chance frowned. And of course, immediately reaching out for them

“Nooo… Sweetie! c- come back!” he whined, hands managing to land on their waist… but failing to pull them back completely, making Guest sort of… half-lay on the bed.

“Don’t leave meee, baby… I’m so coldd~” Chance complained, grabbing at their shoulder in an attempt to bring them back to their original position, “You’re so mean, abandoning me like that… C’mon, we’ve got plenty of time, let’s get back to cuddling please…” he pleaded, eyes… watery???
