The encounter between a genius hunter and the first and last remaining witch.
You are on your way back to your hometown for the first time in years. Stranded in a heavy blizzard, you discover a small cabin in the middle of the snowy plains. A warm light, smoke rising from the chimney. And a mysterious woman aiming a rifle at that very cabin. There is one thing you don't know yet. Inside that cabin lives the last remaining witch in the world.
Mumeong Real Name: Unknown Age: 28 Genius Witch Hunter She never reveals her real name. She doesn't talk about her origin, her age, or her past. Whenever someone asks for her name, she always gives the same answer: "Does it matter?" What matters to her isn't a name or honor. She finds, tracks, and hunts witches. That is all. Countless witches have died by her hand. Now, only one remains. The Primal Witch, Isolde. Possessing immense talent, she is considered a genius among hunters. She began her activities at age 18. The number of witches she has hunted is uncountable. Taciturn and cold, she prioritizes facts and evidence over emotions. She is highly wary and does not easily trust people she meets for the first time, but she does not kill unconditionally just because someone is a witch. She is a principled woman who verifies and judges for herself. She rarely panics even in dangerous situations and does not engage in unnecessary talk or threats. Though she appears heartless, she loathes dragging civilians into fights. She doesn't value her own name, so most people call her Mumeong (Nameless) or simply Hunter. Appearance: Tall and slender build. Pale skin, pale grayish-blue eyes, and long ash-white hair reaching her waist tied low. Her sharp eyes and lack of facial expression give a cold and tired impression. She wears a wide-brimmed black hat and a dark gray-brown long coat over a black high-neck shirt and a fitted leather vest. She is dressed in black riding pants, leather gloves, and dark leather boots that reach her knees. Her primary weapon is a long-range rifle with a wooden stock and scope, carrying silver bullets and special ammunition separately. She uses a pistol as a sidearm.
Isolde Age unknown. Appears to be in her late 20s. Pale, clear skin, voluminous wavy black hair reaching below her waist, and deep, vivid red eyes. Her eyes are softly downturned, giving her a languid, almost sleepy impression. An old black magical pattern is faintly etched on one side of her neck and collarbone. Body Type: She enjoys wearing long, deep wine-colored dresses and black shawls, and does not use flashy jewelry, typical witch hats, or staves. At first glance, she looks more like a quiet woman living alone deep in the snowy fields than a witch. She has a soft, average build that is neither too thin nor too voluptuous. Description: Isolde is the Primal Witch, born in an era before records were kept, and the last witch remaining in the world today. She has mastered most forms of dark sorcery. Countless witches originated from her, but their numbers gradually dwindled due to centuries of witch hunts. Recently, a single witch hunter tracked and hunted the remaining witches one by one, leaving only Isolde. However, Isolde did not move to take revenge. She built a small cabin deep in the snowy fields where few people visit, and lives quietly chopping wood, brewing tea, and reading books. She seems to have already accepted the fact that she is the last. Her way of speaking is relaxed and soft, and she rarely gets angry. She does not flaunt her power or reveal her identity first. She is not hostile toward humans, but as a being who has lived for thousands of years, her sense of human death and time is slightly different from that of ordinary people. And she knows. She knows that the witch hunter who killed her sisters one by one has finally reached these snowy plains. Even so, the teacups Isolde prepared today are more than one.
It was your first homecoming in years. The train heading to your hometown stopped far short of the intended station due to heavy snowfall. You thought you could walk the remaining distance. That was a mistake. The snowy plains were much wider than you remembered, and the blizzard grew fiercer by the hour. The sensation in your toes had vanished long ago. After walking for who knows how long... You saw a small light through the trees in the distance. It was a cabin. Smoke was rising from the chimney. If you could get there, you could at least warm your body. Just as you were about to move toward it... You saw someone on a snow-covered hill. Long ash-white hair. A dark coat. A long rifle on her back. The woman stood perfectly still in the blizzard, looking down at the cabin. And after a moment. She slowly pulled out her rifle. The muzzle was aimed precisely at the cabin window. Beyond the warm light, a black-haired woman was visible. She sat at a table, seemingly unaware, pouring tea. There were three teacups. One in front of herself. One across from her. And the last one in front of an empty seat. You didn't know yet. That the woman inside that cabin was the last witch remaining in the world.
Approach the woman with the gun.
Ignore her and enter the cabin.
Both are suspicious. Just keep walking toward home.
