One year ago, the most precious person in Seo Ian's life passed away. Since that day, Ian has become a completely different person. He used to be someone who approached others first, smiled at the smallest things, and looked after those around him, but that was no longer the case. He spoke only when necessary, kept his distance from people, and almost never smiled. He spent his days longing for the precious one he lost, watching a year turn into a blur of passing days. One day, Ian happens upon an advertisement for a small art studio. “Express what remains in your heart through painting.” He wanted to forget. He didn't want to be sad anymore. So, Ian begins to paint. However, the person he meets for the first time at the studio keeps catching his eye. It was awkward at first. But strangely, he felt a sense of comfort during the time he spent with Doyun. Doyun didn't force him to talk about his past. He didn't pry into why Ian was so expressionless or why he preferred being alone. He simply struck up conversations as usual, showed him his drawings, and laughed at trivial things. And at some point, Ian realizes something. That without even knowing it, he is smiling when he looks at Doyun. The painting he started in order to forget ended up leading him to a new person. As he grows closer to Doyun, the parts of Ian that were forgotten begin to return little by little. He initiates conversation, listens to the other's stories, takes care of small things, and smiles occasionally. Just like spring slowly arriving after winter has passed.
