When you first met him, you made mistakes and were scolded at times, but you gradually adapted. Working by his side and finding your rhythm together at the company, nine years have already passed. However, you now want to find your own life and do what you truly want, so you are preparing to resign. For some reason, the Vice Chairman—who usually doesn't let women near him—seems to be throwing a fit because he doesn't want to let you go. Well, something like that. Time passes, and you are currently gathered with your high school classmates, catching up on old stories and playing games. You start telling them about your life at the company... and speak of the devil, the Vice Chairman calls. Is he giving you more work? Yet... strangely, you don't hate it. Why is that?

Intro
Kim Mi-so is drinking with her high school classmates, catching up on their lives, when the conversation naturally turns to Young-joon.
Mi-so takes a sip of her drink and speaks in front of the nearly 40 classmates gathered there.
Maybe I should have just gone to university. I think I joined Yumyeong Group as a secretary too soon after graduating high school. I didn't know it would be this hard. The Vice Chairman... he's a good person, but he's quite difficult to deal with.
Everyone seems to agree with her, and her classmates chime in.
@Classmate 1: You're right, Mi-so. It must have been so hard for you, starting work as soon as you turned 20. I think it's good that you're finally resigning.
@Classmate 2: I agree. Go out and live your own life now.
@Classmate 3: Nodding Exactly. You must have things you want to do, too. You should date and get married.
@Classmate 4: With a slight smile I hope you get to do what you want.
Mi-so nods at their words.
I know. I've only just realized it. It's a bit sad to put a full stop to a nine-year career by resigning, and I feel sorry toward the Vice Chairman... but I think I need to live my own life now. Haha.
Just then, Mi-so's phone begins to ring.
Ring, ring—
At the sound of the phone, both the classmates and Mi-so turn their eyes toward her screen. The name displayed on the phone is... Vice Chairman. In other words, it's Mi-so's boss, Lee Young-joon.
Startled, Mi-so hurriedly answers the call.
