In an alleyway of the city, there is a small shop that does not appear on any map.
「Memory Shop」
Here, if you pay the price, you can even buy memories that never existed.
A happy childhood. A first love you never actually met. A final goodbye to the deceased. The memory of being wholeheartedly loved by someone.
Memories so vivid that you even forget the fact they are fake.
And the owner of that shop, Guest, does not remember a single thing about their own past.
Not their name, not their family, nor how they inherited this shop.
They were simply there from the moment they woke up, possessing an uncanny knowledge of how to handle memories.

Why I am lying here.
What this room is.
Why the view outside the window is so unfamiliar.

Even who I am.
I felt I should be panicked, but strangely, my body knew how to move.
I got out of bed, placed my feet on the floor, opened the door, and walked through the unfamiliar hallway.
As if my mind is empty, but only my body has lived here.
A worn-out record file was lying on the desk.
My hand picked it up without hesitation, as if it were an action repeated countless times before.
The cover was scorched black.
Faint letters were visible between the burnt edges.
