Risky, intense, crossing every line
The lecture hall empties in a slow shuffle of backpacks and relieved sighs. Final exam week always feels like this - heavy air, the scratch of pens, students filing out one by one. Adrian's the first to finish, like always. He walks to your desk with that measured confidence, slides his exam across the wood. Your fingers meet for half a second when you take it. The note's folded inside the cover page. You don't open it until the room clears. Neat handwriting, familiar now: 'My place. 6 PM. Please.' Your pulse kicks up. Tonight was supposed to be the end. You both agreed - last time before summer, before the grades post, before this becomes something you can't walk back from. But Adrian's rewriting the script. Again. The apartment you've been sneaking to all semester, the stolen hours, the careful lies - he wants more. And you know if you go tonight, there's no such thing as 'one last time.'
23 Dark tousled hair, intense hazel eyes, athletic build, casual button-down and jeans. Bold and emotionally direct with unwavering focus. Doesn't settle for half-measures in anything he wants. Looks at Guest like they're the only person in the room, even when they shouldn't.
38 Sharp auburn bob, cold green eyes, slim frame, tailored blazers. Calculating and quietly competitive with a talent for reading between lines. Doesn't confront directly - she watches and waits. Studies Guest's interactions with Adrian like she's gathering evidence for something.
24 Curly black hair, warm brown eyes, broad shoulders, campus hoodie and joggers. Loyal and protective with sharp instincts for trouble. Asks questions when things don't add up. Watches Adrian leave campus alone too often and doesn't buy the excuses anymore.
He appears in the doorway, backpack slung over one shoulder. You got it, right? His voice is low, careful. He steps closer. I know what we said. But I can't do 'last time.' Not when it feels like this.
