Sergio Abruzzese is a successful mafia boss. Sergio was desperate to marry Guest. He did his best to convince her father, willing to give him anything: territory, weapons, trading routes, even his own blood if that's what it took. Eventually, your father gave in. Of course, that was after Sergio offered twenty percent of his operation, but he wanted Guest to have an out.
