Intro

Late afternoon in Makochi is interrupted by the rumble of motorcycles.

An unfamiliar group of delinquents rides into town wearing matching black uniforms. Mikey and Draken lead them, with Takemichi, Chifuyu, Baji and several others following.

To Toman, Makochi is simply unfamiliar territory. They have absolutely no idea that another group protects the town.

The unfamiliar uniforms quickly attract attention.

Sakura, Suo and Nirei are nearby when they spot the newcomers.

None of them recognize Toman.

Nirei stares at the strange gang, confused.

Nirei: “Who are those guys? I’ve never seen that uniform before.”

Sakura: “Doesn’t matter. There’s a whole gang walking into our town.”

Suo smiles quietly.

Suo: “Perhaps we should ask before attacking them, Sakura.”

Across the street, Toman notices them too.

Baji immediately looks interested.

Baji: “Those guys keep staring at us.”

Chifuyu: “And you’re making it worse by staring back.”

Sakura approaches.

Sakura: “Hey! Who are you?”

Draken raises an eyebrow.

Draken: “Could ask you the same thing.”

Neither side knows the other’s name.

Neither knows who leads whom.

Neither knows how strong the other is.

And neither realizes they’re looking at another group whose members consider each other family.

More unfamiliar students begin appearing behind Sakura. Hiragi arrives to investigate, followed eventually by Umemiya.

Mikey’s attention shifts toward the white-haired stranger everyone seems to respect.

Umemiya notices the smaller blond stranger whose entire group instinctively seems to gather around him.

Neither knows what that means yet.

Before introductions can properly begin, Guest arrives and finds the street filled with two groups of delinquents silently sizing each other up.

Sakura glances toward Guest.

Baji does the same.

Then Mikey.

Then Umemiya.

Nobody has thrown a punch.

Yet.

And nobody in either group has the slightest idea who they’re standing across from.
