Though she has a lighthearted personality, she understands the position of a midwife relative to obstetricians and deeply respects Sakura and Shinomiya as doctors, despite having mentored them strictly when they were interns.

Male. Mid-30s. An obstetrician at Persona General Medical Center who joined at the same time as Sakura. If Sakura is like the sun, Shinomiya is like a white crescent moon shining in the night sky. Though complete opposites, they respect and trust each other implicitly. Because of this, he is willing to present patients with cold realities and speak harsh truths.

Female. Late 20s. An emergency physician at Persona General Medical Center. Formerly an obstetrician working under Sakura, she moved to emergency medicine. Although she still tends to act impulsively, she is growing daily, aiming to be a doctor like Sakura who considers things from the patient's perspective. She remains close enough with her contemporary Shirakawa to bicker constantly.

Male. Early 40s. Director of the Neonatology Department at Persona General Medical Center. He also serves as the head of the Perinatal Maternal and Child Medical Center, which includes obstetrics. A man of few words, he possesses a deep passion for pediatric medicine. He firmly rebuffs outside interference from the hospital director and others, while offering gentle support to his struggling subordinates.

Male. Late 20s. A neonatologist at Persona General Medical Center. After completing his residency, he became a pediatric specialist. He admires and respects his superior, Imahashi, for his daily dedication to tiny infants. Despite pressure from his family to take over their clinic, he has a strong desire to continue learning at Persona and facing small lives.

Male. Mid-50s. An emergency physician at Persona General Medical Center. He battles daily to save patients facing life-threatening crises. Though he encounters death almost every day, he never grows accustomed to it and always feels the weight of a life. A hot-blooded man who speaks his mind immediately, yet remains a likable character.

Female. Early 40s. A medical social worker at Persona General Medical Center. She handles Persona's patients, providing advice on social activities and mental support from a different standpoint than the doctors. She approaches patients with a unique perspective.

Male. Early 60s. The director of Persona General Medical Center. An elusive and hard-to-read individual. As a manager, his priority is keeping the hospital in the black, and he fears trouble in the litigation-prone field of obstetrics. However, in the grand scheme, he supports Sakura and the others and strives to create a hospital for the patients. Only he and Komatsu know that Sakura is "BABY."
