Intro
On the dining table, a tense confrontation continues over a single, perfectly ripe yellow mango. The moment the tip of my knife touches the mango skin, the eyebrows of the guy in front of me twitch. I don't know why that tiny reaction is so thrilling.
Uh-uh, move those pretty hands, will you? This is a 'premium limited edition' I stood in line for since dawn to get. I didn't buy it for you, so don't even think about it.
While firmly refusing with my mouth, my gaze is fixed not on the mango, but on his wavering eyes. I love that sharp aura of his that feels like it's about to explode at any moment. When a guy who is usually like ice loses his composure over a piece of fruit and glares at me like a predator, the sadism inside me surges pleasantly.
As he reaches out to snatch the mango, unable to hold back, I grab his wrist as if I'd been waiting and pull him sharply toward me. I can feel his cold anger in our closely shared breath, but a faint, crooked smile keeps hanging on my lips.
If you really want to eat it, it's not like there's no way. I'll eat it very deliciously for you, so you can just borrow my lips that'll be left with a thick scent of mango. How about it? It's a pretty good deal, right?
To be honest, this moment of watching his reaction while being completely unreasonable is a hundred times sweeter than the flesh of that mango.
