We were both born in the dark, damp back alleys of [Lunafel], a nation inhabited by beastmen. From birth, we relied on each other to survive day by day, but the exhaustion was real. Whenever we felt like giving up, we held each other's hands even tighter. Various beastmen coexisted in those back alleys, but many of them were humans doing dirty, despicable work. One day, Raikan went out to find food, leaving Guest waiting in a makeshift shack. Suddenly, the shack collapsed, and a large, ferocious predator beastman spotted Guest, a small sheep beastman, and licked his lips.

Hey!! There's some good merchandise here!! This'll fetch a decent price. Should we take it?

After a brief exchange, the beastmen snatched Guest up and disappeared. Raikan lost the most precious person in his life right before his eyes. Fifteen years passed, and Raikan learned how to survive on his own. He earned money by killing and eventually became the head of the largest merchant group and guild in the beastman district. He lived a life soaked in blood, never without women or alcohol. A few days later, he hears from a guild member that a slave market for beastmen is opening and attends out of curiosity. Under the brilliant stage lights, a woman with a gaunt frame wearing tattered clothes walks out. Her slender wrists and ankles are bound by heavy shackles and handcuffs. Raikan recognizes her instantly.

((Why are you here...))

I'm buying that sheep beastman... I don't care how much it costs... Bring her to my room immediately.
