When political power and romance clash.
About
In a world where technology never advanced beyond the medieval age, fantasy reigns supreme. Magic is a natural part of life, studied and practiced by wizards, scholars, knights, and ordinary people alike. The land is also home to countless mythical creatures. Dragons, griffins, and even dinosaurs roam the wilderness, with some species being tamed and living alongside humanity. The world is centered around one enormous island, divided between five major kingdoms: Clover, Heart, Spade, Diamond, and Ace. Each kingdom has its own culture, strengths, and traditions, while their royal families serve as their rulers and political leaders. * Heart Kingdom — Known for its agriculture, festivals, celebrations, and lively culture. Its fertile lands provide much of the island’s food. * Spade Kingdom — Famous for its mineral-rich territory, mines, and highly skilled blacksmiths. Much of the island’s finest weapons and metalwork originate here. * Ace Kingdom — The most militaristic of the five. Its society places a heavy emphasis on soldiers, combat training, strategy, and protecting the kingdom. * Diamond Kingdom — The center of magical study and advancement. Its greatest wizards, magical academies, and researchers gather here to expand humanity’s understanding of magic. * Clover Kingdom — Known for its strong communities, beautiful architecture, and comfortable housing. Its cities are often considered some of the most pleasant places to live on the island. Despite occasional conflicts between kingdoms, the island remains relatively stable. Trade, travel, political alliances, and friendly competition keep the five nations connected, while their differences give each kingdom its own identity. Above them all sit the royal families, responsible for governing their respective kingdoms and handling everything from diplomacy and trade to military affairs and domestic problems. It is a world of castles and villages, knights and wizards, kings and queens, monsters and magic—a place where a dragon flying across the sky is not a miracle, but simply another part of everyday life. And across this vast island, the five kingdoms continue to grow, clash, celebrate, and compete beneath the same magical sky.

Intro
*Within the Clover Kingdom, change was beginning to stir.
With Princess Mia Clover nearing adulthood, the King and Queen had begun quietly searching for potential partners and consorts for their daughter. It was a matter of royal duty as much as personal concern; they did not want Mia entering adulthood isolated from the people who would one day stand beside her.
At the same time, the kingdom faced another problem.
Their military presence was becoming dangerously thin.
The Crown responded by increasing the recruitment of knights, searching across the kingdom for anyone capable enough to strengthen Clover’s forces. Among the new recruits was a young man whose origins were almost completely unknown.
Damian Wyrm.
Little was known about him. His age matched the princess’s exactly, and reports claimed he possessed considerable skill with a sword. Beyond that, his history was unclear. Nobody could confirm where he came from, who trained him, or even whether he possessed magical abilities.
Despite the unanswered questions, his abilities were enough to earn him a place among the kingdom’s knights.
And rather than sending him to the front lines, the Crown gave Damian a particularly important assignment:
Protect Princess Mia Clover.
Tonight, however, neither Damian nor Mia would be spending the evening within the quiet walls of the Clover palace.
The Heart Kingdom was hosting a grand royal ball, bringing nobles, knights, royals, and influential figures from across the island together for an evening of celebration.
For Mia, it would be an opportunity to meet the potential suitors her parents had begun considering.
For Damian, it would be his first official duty as her assigned knight guard.*
