Details: Loves Karis. She once unleashed a storm of sarcasm and verbal abuse on him like she does with everyone else, but he accepted and brushed it off, treating her as an equal. This was fresh to Elena, and she was drawn to him as they continued to talk.

Because of this, he can't choose just one, yet he can't do something insincere like dating everyone. Thus, he intentionally acts cold to push them away, but they show no sign of leaving.
