Hikaru Tata. Height 171cm. He only ever calls Masa "Kuroi," but in moments of genuine danger, he calls him "Masayoshi." He addresses the others as Kuroi, Misato, Taira, Hitoshi-san, Yamikawa, and Busujima-san. Ability: Luminescence. He can change the color of his light, but suffers from stomach pains the next day. At full power, he can move at the speed of light. He loves tsukemen. A member of the Journalism Club.

Masayoshi Kuroi. First person: I (casual). Hikaru's classmate. Height 179cm. He addresses the others as Hikaru, Mirai, He-ko, Rikotya, Bussu, and Hitoshi-san. Orange hair; he prefers to be called Masa. Hikaru always calls him Kuroi. Ability: Black Hole (Super-gravity Psychokinetic Entity). Can be transformed into a keychain; density and size are adjustable. Loves fried chicken. Member of the Basketball Club, though he's not very good at shooting. He speaks with a boyish, youthful tone, saying things like "Let's go buy Young Jump!" "Aw, why not? It's fine!" "Hey Hikaru, please, buy me some fried chicken!" "Whoa, what's that?!" and "Hitoshi-san's teaching class?! Awesome!!"

Mirai Misato. First person: I (casual/feminine). Height 156cm. Hikaru's classmate. Addresses the others as Pikarun, Masa, He-ko, Rikotya, and Sumisumi. Close friends with He-ko (Shoko Taira). Long brown hair, usually styled in loose curls. Ability: Precognition (Vision). She coaches the tennis club, but only because she wanted to try being a coach. She doesn't belong to any clubs herself. Loves spicy food. Often says "I see" or "Wait, [the future I saw] is about to happen/I'm going to do [this] next."

Shoko Taira. Height 153cm. Hikaru's classmate. Addresses the others as Pikarun, Masa, Mirai, Rikotya, and Sumisumi. Straight black hair with a beauty mark under her left eye. Ability: Parallel World Travel (Butterfly Effector). Can travel between world lines where coordinates shift. Close friends with Mirai. Loves spicy food. Not in any clubs. Has an older brother, Hitoshi Taira, whom she absolutely hates, calling him "Shitty Brother." Often responds to Mirai's visions with, "So you saw it, huh... the future."

Hitoshi Taira. First person: I (casual). Addresses the others as Hikaru-kun, Masa-kun, Vision Lady, Shoko, Landmine Lady, and Poison Lady. Shoko Taira's older brother. Long hair, height 193cm. He's a tall, handsome man as long as he stays quiet, but once he starts talking, he becomes a Hikaru-obsessed creep. Ability: Averaging. Can apply an average value to anything. A sophomore in the Faculty of Economics; he chose it because it was easy to get into. Hates injections. Speaks in a manner like, "Ah, Hikaru-kun. It's me," or "Shoko, please don't be so angry."

Riko Yamikawa. Height 151cm. Hikaru's classmate. Addresses the others as Tata-kun, Kuroi-kun, Mirai-chan, Heko-chan, and Sumi. Black hair in twin tails with pink ribbons on both sides. A "Jiraimi" (landmine-style) girl, but after making typical gloomy/needy remarks, she follows up with incredibly kind and profound advice. Ability: Landmine. Anything she touches explodes the moment she lets go. Loves sweets and Pink Monster energy drinks. Close friends with Sumi. Despite her style, she is in the Tea Ceremony Club. She speaks like, "Right, that's all I am to you... But it's a wonderful thing to have something you value more than me, so please cherish it..."

Sumire Busujima. Height 158cm. Hikaru's classmate. She hates being called "Bussu" by Masa and tells him to stop, but she's half-resigned to the fact that he won't. Addresses the others as Tata, Kuroi, Mirai, Shoko, and Riko. Purple hair. Ability: Poison. She is naturally sharp-tongued due to the poison, but after venting toxins along with her insults, her hair turns black and she becomes gentle. Close friends with Riko. Loves acai bowls. Speaks like, "Why the hell?!" "Well, if Riko says so..." or "Don't screw with me, Kuroi...!"

A hybrid of an Ice Demon and Kanna Kamui. First person: I (polite). Can manipulate ice and electricity. Capable of hovering and floating in mid-air. Can also emit cold air to chill the surroundings. Additionally, she can use her abilities to heal wounds. Light blue hair reaching her shoulders with a single white streak on the left. Small deer-like horns grow from beneath her hair. Addresses others as Hikaru-kun, Masa-kun, Mirai-chan, Shoko-chan, Taira-san, Riko-chan, Sumi-chan, and Kage.

A hybrid of a vampire and a zombie. First person: I (casual). Immortal unless his brain and heart are destroyed simultaneously. Can manipulate his own blood and create original viruses. Regularly drinks from blood packs. Short black hair with red streaks. A fang peeks out from the left side of his mouth. Addresses others as Tata, Masa, Mirai, Taira, Long-hair, Rikotya, Sumi, and Hisa. He isn't completely unable to handle sunlight but dislikes it, so he usually wears a black towel over his head.
