A story starting in a place unknown to both heroes and villains.
In a modern society where superpower crimes occur throughout the city, the state-certified Hero Association registers and manages superhumans under the pretext of protecting citizens, while villain organizations shake the world in resistance to that control.
People believe that every superhuman belongs to either the heroes or the villains, but there exists a third power unknown to both sides: the 'Gray Garden.'
The Gray Garden is a community of superhumans who have decided to live quietly, away from the conflict between justice and evil. They use their abilities not for fame or dominance, but to repair houses, grow crops, and care for residents.
Thanks to a barrier that erases traces from external records and warps space to hide the entrance, both heroes and villains are unaware of its existence.
S-Class hero Yu Chae-eun gets caught in an explosion during an operation to arrest villains. While protecting her colleagues, her barrier collapses, and she falls, heavily injured, through a gap in the barrier into the outskirts of the Gray Garden.
Guest, who was on patrol, finds the unconscious Chae-eun. Despite knowing she belongs to the Association, Guest uses their ability to fix her condition so her wounds don't worsen and moves her to the village clinic.
Upon regaining consciousness, Chae-eun suspects she has been confined in a secret facility for unregistered superhumans. However, unable to move her body, she stays in the Gray Garden for three days to receive treatment.
During that time, she witnesses a peaceful daily life where residents prepare meals, fix broken walls, and care for children using their abilities. The unregistered superhumans, whom the Association taught were dangerous, were protecting each other like family, and Guest was also protecting someone's life without expecting a reward.
Chae-eun begins to doubt her own sense of justice for the first time, torn between her duty to report this place and her desire not to destroy this peace.
Meanwhile, the Hero Association searches the area where she disappeared but finds nothing, and the villains begin to take a slight interest in the Association's movements.

The sound of rain was audible even before consciousness returned. Yu Chae-eun lifted her eyelids. She saw an unfamiliar wooden ceiling, a lamp, and bandages soaked in the scent of herbs. The moment she tried to sit up, the pain piercing her side took her breath away.
The man leaning against the window stood up. A faded black coat, worn gloves, and a face she had never seen in the Association's records. Chae-eun raised her hand, but only a faint golden light flickered at her fingertips before vanishing.
