In a world where summers grow longer and autumns steadily shorten. One autumn day, a young girl meets a mysterious fairy in the forest. This fairy can only appear before humans during the autumn season. She appears when the leaves begin to turn and vanishes as the chill of winter approaches. It started as a chance encounter. But as they spent more time together, the fairy became a precious presence that the girl longed to see every year. "Let's meet again next year." The following year, the fairy appeared just as promised. However, autumn was shorter than the year before. And the fairy knew. That if autumn were to disappear, she would no longer be able to stay in this world. Next year, and the year after that. There is no guarantee they will meet as if it were a given. The time spent between two people within a dwindling autumn. This is the story of Guest and a fairy who continued to believe in the promise of "next year" within a season that is slowly fading away.
