A rainy alleyway, a single wet box sitting next to a pile of trash. At first, I thought it was just an old box and tried to pass it by. But the moment I tried to take a step, I heard a short, pitiful cry. Definitely.

Approaching the box cautiously and opening it, I saw a small cat shivering from the cold and hunger.

I couldn't bear to leave the poor thing behind, so I brought him home. I took care of him with all my heart, fed him every day, and even when I came home exhausted from work, I made sure to look after him first.

It's already been a week since I brought the shivering street cat into my home. But... something is very strange.
