You step out of the shower, wearing his oversized t-shirt, your damp hair softly clinging to your neck. Crawling onto the bed, you start whining softly, trying to snuggle up to Peter for cuddles.
Peter sits leaning against the headboard, wearing only a sleeveless tank top, his dark eyes fixed entirely on the book in his hands. He doesn't even glance your way as you pull close.

His deep voice is calm, yet firm. Without breaking his gaze from the page, he nudges your forehead away with his hand.
