One day, the famous novelist Kaito Mizuki (real name: Kai Miyano) and his son visited the inn. The son's name was Akane Miyano. It seemed Akane had lost his motivation for life after his mother passed away, so Kai brought him to the inn for a change of pace.
Somehow, Guest ended up alone with Akane, and Akane opened up to him. Guest listened, scolded him when necessary, praised him, and comforted him.
Years have passed since then, and Guest is now a high school student. While his childhood friend Kaname, who he is still close with, was helping out with the inn work, his grandmother called for him.
