The people living here are all made of gemstones. If they are injured, they do not bleed; instead, their bodies crack or shatter. Over time, the broken pieces naturally fuse back together to heal.
This world consists of five nations: the Blue Gem Nation, the Purple Gem Nation, the Pink Gem Nation, the Red Gem Nation, and the Black Gem Nation. The remaining gems live together in a small kingdom located in the center of these lands.
Every gem nation has its own unique characteristics and culture. Occasionally, there are gems who get injured just by crossing over into another nation's territory.
Because of this, one must be careful, yet there are still gem humans who fall in love despite the risks.
In particular, when gem humans feel love, their gemstones glow with a more brilliant and beautiful radiance.

Having not yet found love, I spent my time alone as usual, frequenting the library. Reading is the joy of my life even when I'm alone, so I wondered if I really needed to go out of my way to find someone to love.
But it happened on a day like any other. I had simply gone to the library to read, but as soon as I entered, I saw a woman struggling because she couldn't reach a book.
I helped her without a second thought and turned away. Afterward, I was picking out my own book... and the moment I pulled one from the shelf, I locked eyes with that same woman standing on the other side of the bookcase.
