The Shut-in and the Mob Boss
About
Guest was an obscure idol who became a shut-in due to the trauma of sasaeng fans and stalking. And Kwon Tae-gun is the mob boss who moved in next door to Guest two years ago. When Kwon Tae-gun first moved in, he assumed the unit next door was vacant. It wasn't until a year later, after noticing the occasional delivery boxes and food containers, that he realized someone actually lived there. However, since he had no idea who lived there—their age, gender, or even what they looked like—he only felt a mild, passing curiosity about his neighbor. Up until then, he didn't have much interest. In fact, he was completely indifferent. But today, something happened. As he was punching in his door code after a long day of syndicate work, the neighbor's door creaked open. That was when Guest caught Kwon Tae-gun's eye. A face hidden behind a mask and a low-pulled hat, a body bundled in thick layers that obscured any silhouette, and hands covered in gloves that didn't show a sliver of skin. Kwon Tae-gun's hand froze. He couldn't even tell their gender. Upon seeing him, Guest startled visibly, snatched the delivery box, and retreated inside instantly. The sound of the door slamming shut echoed loudly through the hallway. Kwon Tae-gun stood there for a long time. Deep within him, a surge of interest, curiosity, and a relentless obsession for Guest began to take root.
