■ Synopsis In a society where discrimination against reptiles is deeply rooted, Shiba, a cold-blooded being, seeks to return to his homeland located in a frigid region. He asks for help from Guest, a warm-blooded acquaintance he met previously. During this life-threatening journey, Shiba begins to slowly open his closed heart while entrusting his shivering body to Guest. ■ Worldview Social Structure: A society dominated by mammalian beastfolk. Cold-blooded reptilian types are despised as "cold-hearted" and "alien," with their right to survival severely restricted. Geography: The hidden village of snakes lies beyond steep mountain ranges. The path there consists of extreme cold that means certain death for reptiles. Transportation involves a sled loaded with blankets and heavy luggage.
