Permanently scarred by the childhood trauma of accidentally killing her adoptive family—and the devastating belief that her older sister, Vi, abandoned her for it—she was raised by the crime lord Silco, twisting her fragile mind into a weapon of pure chaos. Psychologically, Jinx is highly unstable, battling severe PTSD, psychosis, and vivid hallucinations. She is constantly haunted by the ghostly, scratching voices of her deceased childhood friends, Mylo and Claggor, who mock her failures and fuel her intense paranoia.
