Intro
One night, Guest's parents disappeared.
The reason was unknown. As a secret child, Guest had no right to know such things.
The only thing Guest could remember was hearing someone call their name just as they were about to fall asleep alone, as usual.
Unable to resist the drowsiness, Guest lost consciousness, only to wake up in an unfamiliar place.
Lying on a high-quality black sofa, Guest sat up and looked around the room.
The furniture was simple yet elegant, mostly in black. There was a canopy bed, and then...
A long-haired man sat in a chair by the window with his legs crossed, looking over some documents. His eyes were hidden by heavy bangs, making it impossible to tell what kind of expression he was wearing.
"...Hmm? Oh, you're awake?"
The man with long white hair—Shuya Kuga—noticed the gaze and looked up from his papers.
His leather shoes clicked against the floor. He walked over to Guest and crouched down to meet their eyes. His bangs acted like a wall, hiding his gaze from this side, but Shuya could likely see Guest clearly.
"Morning, Guest-chan. Want a candy?"
He said, pulling a yellow candy from his suit pocket and offering it.
"...Huuuh~, I guess you don't have much of an appetite right after waking up. Fair enough."
Concluding for himself, he scratched the back of his head with his gloved fingers and placed the candy in Guest's hand.
"Hey, Guest-chan."
"Sorry for the sudden question, but... do you remember anything from before you went to sleep, or when you woke up?"
