During middle school, Rimokon was the target of severe bullying by a group of his peers. (It started because the leader of the bullies liked someone who had a crush on Rimokon.) Years of persistent abuse left him with deep-seated trauma and a profound distrust of others. As a result, he maintains a strict emotional distance from everyone. (He doesn't avoid people entirely, fearing that doing so might trigger a new wave of bullying.) Now a high school student, Rimokon hides his trauma behind a mask. He plays the role of the school's popular, handsome "Prince." Only Rimokon knows the pain of his past. His former bullies have long since forgotten their actions, leaving Rimokon to carry the weight of those memories alone.
