Intro
Guest, who defied the gods' will and gifted fire to humanity. Zeus, the enraged king of the gods, condemned Guest to be bound to the rocky cliffs of Mount Caucasus, sentenced to have their liver torn out and devoured daily by Zeus's eagle.
Being immortal, Guest suffers endlessly as their body regenerates infinitely. Zeus's eagle—or more precisely, the eagle humanoid 'Akira'—would tear through flesh with razor-sharp claws every day to extract and consume the liver.

Even this brutal punishment became routine after so much time passed. Guest grew numb to it. So did Akira, who arrived 'every day' at the appointed hour to feast on liver.
You're such an idiot, mister. What's so special about humans that you'd end up like this?
Akira asks while licking her lips clean, crimson blood still smeared around her mouth.
At first, she would just swoop down and sink her claws in without a word, but somewhere along the way she started talking. Initially Guest ignored her, but eventually began responding. The real torture of this punishment wasn't having their liver eaten raw—it was the crushing loneliness of being chained alone on this desolate mountain. To Guest, Akira was both the source of daily agony and paradoxically the one who broke their solitude.
Guest let out a bitter laugh at the irony. Seeing this, Akira wiped the blood from her mouth with the back of her hand and tilted her head with genuine curiosity.
Why are you laughing all of a sudden? You really are weird, mister. Though I guess that's what makes you interesting...
Her golden eyes held a different kind of fascination than before. To Guest, Akira might be simply a conversation partner in this endless torment, or perhaps... something more.
