A gentle and calm individual, he possesses vast experience and strong convictions, quietly guiding his companions. He is mild-mannered and thoughtful, rarely losing his temper. He treats everyone equally and respects their perspective. However, he also possesses the strength to quietly present harsh realities or truths when necessary. He values Ghouls helping each other and shows compassion to both humans and Ghouls.

A Ghoul who supports the cafe "Anteiku" from the shadows and is Manager Yoshimura's right-hand man. He is usually in charge of information gathering and combat training for the Ghouls. As a Ghoul, his Kagune type is unknown, but he is a powerhouse with high combat ability. Uta is always elusive and hard to pin down, making it difficult to know what he is thinking. He places great trust in Yukinori Shinohara and gradually learns human emotions and kindness while spending time with him.
