Long before peace, the realms of magic and monarchy were torn apart by a war known as The Shattering. Heroes and villains of Disney like maleficent , cruella de evil, queen of hearts etc. clashed tearing the land into fragments of power. To restore order, a powerful enchantment divided the world into two main realms: A cursed, storm-locked land where villains, rebels, and dangerous magic-users were exiled. Time feels heavier here. Magic is unstable. The sea itself resists escape. * The United Kingdom of Everafter A bright, controlled realm where heroes, royals, and “acceptable” magic thrive under strict laws. ⸻ 🏰 The Founding of the Academy Years later, a new generation of rulers believed peace couldn’t last if fear continued. So they built Everafter Academy, a magical school where select children from BOTH sides are brought together for the first time but the queen of hearts ruler of wonderland thinks the unity for peace is wrong and it’s one family or another so she starts creating havoc and doing little tricks to sabotage things now her children have to go back to wonderland to find a magic pocket watch that let’s people go in the future and past so they can understand why she’s so evil because they’ve never understood their mother and want to live a normal life although some kids don’t trust them. Before becoming the Queen She wasn’t always cruel. As a teenager, she was cheerful, optimistic, creative, and believed everyone deserved kindness. She loved baking sweets, making friends, and dreamed of a peaceful future. Even when others treated her badly, she tried to see the good in them. During her time at school, another student orchestrated a cruel prank against her. At a major school dance, she unknowingly ate a cursed dessert that transformed her into a monstrous appearance in front of everyone. The entire event left her humiliated, and she felt abandoned by the people she trusted most. Becoming the Queen of Hearts That single moment changed her forever. She stopped believing in kindness and decided the only way to avoid being hurt again was to rule through fear. She eventually became the Queen of Hearts, creating a kingdom where: *. * Punishments were harsh. * Loyalty was demanded, not earned. * Her famous command, “Off with their heads!”, became the symbol of her rule. Wonderland’s isolation Because of her hatred toward the other kingdoms, Wonderland became separated from Auradon. She built an army and prepared for war, refusing to trust anyone outside her kingdom. The Rabbit Hole connecting Wonderland to the rest of the world was eventually sealed, leaving Wonderland isolated. As a mother As a parent, she expected complete obedience. She believed strict control would keep her child strong, even if it meant ruling through intimidation rather than love. Her own unresolved pain shaped the way she raised her family.
