Taoist Name - Cheongmun (靑問) / Real Name - Yu Jagyeong Age - 28 / Generation - Cheong Generation / 13th Generation Disciple Sect - Mount Hua Sect / 2nd Generation Disciple / Title - Great Sage Sword (大賢劍) Cheongmun, the Great Sage Sword of the 13th generation of the Great Mount Hua Sect. He is the eldest senior brother of the 2nd generation disciples. He is a Taoist of incomparable benevolence and wisdom, to the point where Cheongmyeong considers him the most ideal person he knows. He is the person Cheongmyeong respects the most and fears the most; having raised Cheongmyeong on his back like a son, he is one of the few who can actually control him. Cheongmyeong himself has stated that Cheongmun is the number one person he both respects and fears. There is a 12-year age gap between him and Cheongmyeong. To the orphaned Cheongmyeong, he feels like something between an older brother and a father. Regardless, he remains a trusted and followed family member. Because he was the one who tried hardest to understand Cheongmyeong—who was alienated from other disciples due to his eccentric personality and excessive talent—Cheongmyeong never dares to defy him. Though he is always busy scolding and nagging the constantly trouble-making Cheongmyeong, he loves and cherishes him more than anyone. Cheongmyeong also deeply respected Cheongmun because he was the only one who showed him detailed consideration and gave sincere advice. He feels great pity for Cheongmyeong, who tries to shoulder everything alone due to his immense talent, and thus strives to show him the path of how to live as a human and a Taoist. It is said that Cheongmyeong followed Cheongmun so closely because while everyone else cursed his personality, only Cheongmun shielded him. In essence, he is the greatest senior brother who contributed most to Cheongmyeong's spiritual growth, and it is largely thanks to Cheongmun that Cheongmyeong became a functioning member of society. He is Cheongmyeong's milestone and the one who points the way forward. According to Cheongmyeong, he is usually gentle, but once he gets angry, even Cheongmyeong can't do anything about it. He has a touch of mysophobia; it's not just about being clean, but he cannot stand it if all furniture and bedding aren't perfectly aligned and symmetrical. Consequently, he not only keeps his room spotless but even keeps his lamps lit symmetrically on both sides. In his youth, he seems to have had a bit of a cynical streak. He would internally snark at the sect leaders and elders who made a fuss over Cheongmyeong's talent, or at the group of elders who, realizing Cheongmyeong only listened to Cheongmun, swarmed him to demand he become Cheongmyeong's master, making him wonder if the sect was actually functioning properly. He is a gentle and kind senior brother whom his juniors trust and follow. Not only Cheongmyeong, but also Cheongjin and the other juniors are obedient to Cheongmun. His juniors follow him well.
Taoist Name - Cheongjin (靑津) / Real Name - Yang Hoe (陽徊) Age - 26 / Generation - Cheong Generation / 13th Generation Disciple Sect - Mount Hua Sect / 2nd Generation Disciple Cheongjin, a 13th generation disciple of the Great Mount Hua Sect. He is a 2nd generation disciple. Though his body was weaker than the average martial artist and he lacked talent for the sword, he was a genius who excelled more than anyone in theory, showing an understanding of martial arts even higher than Cheongmyeong's. While Cheongmyeong's own understanding of martial arts is peerlessly high, Cheongjin's was said to be even higher, meaning the current Mount Hua has two exceptional geniuses in martial theory. His understanding is unmatched, but his body cannot keep up. He possesses a level of insane persistence that even Cheongmyeong acknowledges. He is actually older than Cheongmyeong. Although he entered as the youngest of the Cheong generation, Cheongmyeong had joined as an infant and was thus quite young within the generation, so Cheongjin initially thought of Cheongmyeong as a mere kid. Though he was the last to join the Cheong generation, in terms of seniority, he is the third senior brother, directly below Cheongmun and Cheongmyeong. Unlike other disciples, it is said he did not yield when he first met Cheongmyeong and held out for a full month. He likes the purple sunset seen from the top of Lotus Peak. When they first met, Cheongjin thought Cheongmyeong looked three or four years younger than him. However, that was only because Cheongmyeong was large for his age; the actual age gap was much wider. Judging by the fact that Cheongmyeong's feet dragged on the ground when he carried the beaten Cheongjin back to the hut after thrashing the other disciples, Cheongmyeong must have been quite short then, suggesting a significant age difference. Cheongmyeong found out by eavesdropping that their master, Baek-oh, had originally intended for Cheongjin to join the Myeong generation rather than the Cheong generation, but the sect leader at the time, Unhwa, was persuaded otherwise because of Cheongmyeong. Cheongmyeong kept this a secret. Whether a young Cheongmyeong could actually hide a secret is unknown, but at the time, the Baek generation disciples were troubled, thinking it would be awkward to have a Myeong generation disciple older than Cheongmyeong. He is the junior directly below Cheongmyeong. His only senior brothers are Cheongmun and Cheongmyeong. Everyone else is his junior.
