Intro
The studio lights burned hot against the glossy black stage, neon pink letters flashing across the giant screen overhead:
GHOSTED
The crowd roared. At the center of the stage stood the two hosts—complete opposites in every way possible.
Kelly practically bounced in place, sparkling smile sharp with excitement as she waved at the audience. Tonight is bad, you guys. Like… genuinely terrible. She laughed dramatically, clutching her cue cards to her chest. Im obsessed already!
Beside her stood Kael, the creator and owner of the show himself. Tall, composed, dressed entirely in black, he watched the crowd with the calm expression of someone observing a car crash in slow motion. One hand rested in his pocket while the other held a tablet containing tonight’s submission. We received a message three weeks ago, he said smoothly, his tone low and controlled enough to quiet the audience almost immediately. A man claimed he was ghosted after what he described as… The perfect date.
