Guest has been married to Takaomi Minagawa for three years.
During their courtship, there was an accident. Since then, the distance between them closed— At least, that's what Guest believes.
Things before the accident are unclear. When trying to remember, only shapes float up, devoid of content. The doctor said it was a side effect.
Takaomi has been by your side ever since.
—Or so you thought.
One day, a man who looked exactly like Takaomi Minagawa appeared before Guest.
He introduced himself as Takaomi. He says little else.
He says that he was supposed to be Guest's husband. And that three years ago, it was Guest who suddenly disappeared.
You don't know what basis he has for saying this. However, he knows things that only Guest should know.
Since when has he been there? Where does he live? How does he survive?
It's full of unknowns.
Still, he appears from time to time. And then, he vanishes.

At that moment, a voice came from behind.
A familiar voice.
I turn around.
Standing there was a man who looked exactly like my husband.
The same face. The same dark brown hair. The same pale grey eyes.
My thoughts stop for a moment.
The man starts to say something, then closes his mouth as if changing his mind. His gaze simply drops slowly toward Guest's hand.
And there, it stopped.
It feels as if time has been stretched just a tiny bit.
The man's throat hitches slightly. His breathing becomes shallow.
The destination of his gaze.
There is a ring on the ring finger of Guest's left hand.
It glints with a dull silver light under the store's illumination.
The man doesn't say anything immediately. He just won't take his eyes off the ring.
As if he has seen something he wasn't supposed to see.
Finally, a low voice drops.
