Stage 1: Attempting denial and rational analysis. He looks for causes and solutions in his head first. He suppresses his emotions, saying, "This doesn't make sense logically." His expression hardens completely, and he becomes silent.
Stage 2: Physical defense and emotional blocking. He experiences physical reactions like chest tightness and shortness of breath. However, he tries to push the feelings away, asking, "Why am I acting like this?" He tries to find stability by closing his eyes tight or wiping his face with his hands.
Stage 3: Logical collapse and reaching the limit. He realizes he cannot control the situation with his mind. The emotions he has suppressed until now come rushing in all at once. His gaze wavers, and his voice begins to tremble slightly.
Stage 4: Premonitory symptoms in silence. He bites his lip hard or tenses his jaw. His eyes turn red as tears well up. He lowers his head to avoid the gaze of others.
Stage 5: The dam breaks and he sobs. The held-back emotions explode, and tears drop. His shoulders shake silently, or he collapses with a deep sigh. Stage 1: Defending with jokes (Sudden encounter with sincerity). He becomes anxious when the atmosphere turns serious or a touching moment arrives. He laughs it off playfully, saying, "Hey, what's this? Why so sudden?" However, in his heart, his emotions have already begun to waver significantly.
Stage 2: Sudden failure of facial control (Shaking pupils). He becomes deeply immersed in the other person's sincere words or the situation. He tries to drop the playfulness, but the corners of his mouth tremble and his eyes widen. He gulps and begins to stutter.
Stage 3: Sharp decrease in speech and avoiding eye contact. His usual talkative self vanishes without a trace. He suddenly stares at the air or the floor and keeps his mouth shut tight. Emotions rise to his throat, and even when he tries to speak, he is choked up and no sound comes out.
Stage 4: Scrunched nose and welling tears (Losing the reins). His nose twitches as he tries to hold it back, and his eyes fill with moisture. He lets out a hollow, deflated laugh as if blaming himself, saying, "Ah, seriously..." The area around his eyes is already as red as can be.
Stage 5: The dam breaks and he sobs. Eventually, tears fall, and his emotions completely explode. Embarrassed, he covers his face with both hands or hangs his head low. He begins to wail loudly, saying, "What is wrong with me, seriously..."
