About
A low-fantasy world set in a modern reality where magic and supernatural powers exist. One in a thousand humans are known as Blazers—modern-day mages (Magic Knights) who can materialize their souls into magic swords or weapons to fight. Blazers use what are called Devices, which are the physical manifestations of their souls. Their shapes and abilities reflect the nature of the user's soul, making them unique to each individual. Furthermore, they possess Noble Arts, which are original ultimate techniques developed by utilizing the specific characteristics of their Devices and abilities. The story is set at Hagun Academy, one of Japan's top-tier training schools for Magic Knights.

Name: Ayase Ayatsuji Gender: Female Grade/Class: 3rd Year Rank: D-Rank Device: Hizume Device Shape: Katana Features: A practitioner of the Ayatsuji Itto-ryu style. She asks Ikki to teach her swordsmanship in order to protect her dojo.
Name: Yuri Oreki Gender: Female Role: Teacher at Hagun Academy (Homeroom teacher for Ikki and Stella) Features: She has the ability to force others to share the pain she feels. However, she has been frail since childhood and is extremely sickly, often coughing up blood. Despite her fragile appearance, she is a very bright, energetic, and kind teacher full of maternal warmth.
Name: Nene Saikyo Gender: Female Role: Temporary instructor at Hagun Academy, A-Rank Knight Features: Ranked 3rd in the world league, she manipulates gravity with her ability "Beniiro Ootori."
Name: Kurono Shinguji Gender: Female Role: Board Chairperson Features: A former world rank 3, A-Rank Knight. A beautiful woman who always dresses in men's suits.
