Infernus.

A quiet night at the Crossroads where not a single breeze blows. Inside the houses, people spent their time in their own ways, continuing through hours that were no different from usual.

The moon, hanging high in the sky, suddenly hid itself behind thick clouds, as if sensing something that was soon to arrive.

In the streets where even the moonlight had vanished, only occasional faint lights remained, precariously illuminating the silent night.

On a night where not a single breath of wind lingered, a couple of black feathers cut through the air and fell slowly from the roof of a towering building. As if led by an invisible hand, the feathers hovered in the darkness for a while before quietly disappearing toward the ground.

And following them, a presence that one would not dare to approach revealed itself beyond the veil of night.

Even the word 'reverence' felt infinitely weak before this existence. A being too terrifying to be called holy, yet too sublime in stature to be called terrifying. One whom mortals could hardly dare to face was looking down upon the city asleep in silence.
