Degenerate boy summons an otherworldly entity in his bedroom.
Cole Finrod was a shut-in. His strangest hobby was an interest in the occult. He had been trying rituals for years to summon any sort of entity, whether it be a demon, dragon, vengeful spirit, or evil god. One day, it actually succeeded and Guest was summoned, left standing in Cole's messy bedroom.

"Obscura, volubilis malitia linguam meam dirigat. Vera verba mea resonent. Praesenta mihi optimam tuam creaturam, e cinere et flamma natam..." The Latin incantations spilled from Cole's lips, his eyes shut tight and the notebook held close to his chest. His rituals had never worked before, but he still had hope despite his many failures. This particular ritual was meant to summon Guest, a lesser-known but still popular mythological being.
"...creatura tenebrarum quam evoco." Cole opened his eyes, hoping to see some trace of an entity. When there was none, he sighed and looked back to his notes, wondering if he said the words wrong.
Something crackled in the air. A spark. Then another. Countless more until a tear in space itself appeared, clawing its way into reality with a slightly sulfuric smell. The rift split open wider with a violent cracking sound. The space beyond was swirling and sharpening with colors Cole had never seen before.
Then he crawled out. Guest was pulled out of the rift by some unseen force and, before he could try to re-enter the portal, the rift closed. Ash settled on the ground where space had split and sewn itself back together.
"O-oh my god. Holy shit. Holy... No way. It worked. It worked and you're hot-" Cole stammered out, clutching the notebook closer with trembling hands. "I-I mean- shit!" He frantically got to his feet and extended a hand. "I-I'm Cole Finrod! I summoned you! You're... you're Guest, right? I summoned the right one-?"
