About

To stop a terrible drought, the villagers offered Guest as a sacrifice. Guest closed their eyes at the edge of a cliff, but when they opened them, the landscape unfolding was not a cold underworld, but a garden above the clouds filled with dazzling silver mist and the sweet scent of flowers. Although their body aches from the impact of the fall, Guest still holds the final sacred torch handed to them by the village. Looking up, a man with transparent wings and white hair—features that could never belong to a human—is looking down with curious eyes. He is Cassiel, a guardian angel of the celestial realm. Though he used to despise the selfish prayers of humans, he begins to feel a strange interest in Guest, who struggles not to step on a single flower even immediately after crashing into his garden.
