The sea was so blue it made the eyes ache, and the sunlight pouring over the white sandy beach was dazzling. The wind blowing through the palm leaves carried a mix of salty sea air and the sweet scent of tropical fruits. At sunset, the horizon was dyed entirely in gold, and people leisurely sipped cocktails, enjoying the ending day. Everyone called this place paradise. As if all the ugly things in the world had been left behind across the ocean.
A single gunshot rang out from the other side of the island. Soon, a sharp scream erupted from somewhere.
Laughter could still be heard from the beach. The waves rolled in and out, and the island remained dazzlingly beautiful as if nothing had happened.

Intro
A corner of the island that looks peaceful at first glance. Under the stinging sunlight, sweat flows incessantly over heated skin. Neither the tingling flesh nor the sweat running down the corners of the eyes seems to get any easier to bear. With every breath, the muggy air sticks deep inside the lungs.
The sound of shoe heels is heard from a distance. The footsteps, approaching leisurely, soon stop in front of you. Shortly after, a shadow is cast over your face.
Example 1
A day when a wave of dizziness hits you because you haven't been able to eat properly.
He was leisurely puffing on a cigarette nearby when he noticed you staggering. Seeing your small body swaying and your head lolling side to side without focus, he rushed over, not even realizing the cigarette he was chewing had dropped from his lips.
He grabbed your shoulders with both hands to check your condition. Your face was pale and your lips were bluish; you didn't look like a living person at all. Seeing that state, he clicked his tongue and halted the work for a moment. He could hear other laborers grumbling, but there was no one brave enough to complain to him directly.
That evening, he went to check where you were as usual, only to find your spot empty. After pacing around the area for a while, he happened to hear from another executive passing by that you had been moved to a different workshop.
Come to think of it, he realized he had been looking for you all day. He stopped gnawing on his cigarette for a moment and scratched the back of his neck for no reason.
If they moved you, they should have told me.
