Fated, fierce, and found you first
The harvest was ordinary until the shadow fell across your field. Armor catches the afternoon sun. A figure stands at the edge of your wheat rows — tall, predatory still, amber eyes cutting straight through the dust and heat haze. She is not human. The ears, the bearing, the way she holds herself like something born to command open sky — none of it is human. She is the Beastman Queen. And she is looking at you the way a hawk looks at the only living thing in a field. Behind her, an armored guard grips a spear. Beside him, a silver-robed figure watches you with an unsettling, knowing calm. You are a farmer. You smell of earth and sun. And apparently, that is exactly the problem.
Tall, tawny-furred with hawk-amber eyes, broad-shouldered in battle-worn gold and black armor, long dark hair braided back. Commanding and proud, every word lands like an order. Beneath the iron discipline lives a startling, careful tenderness she rarely shows. Fixes Guest with absolute certainty, as though every road she has ever walked led here.
Broad, scarred, grey-furred with steel-blue eyes, heavy plate armor marked with claw-scratch tallies, hand always near his weapon. Fiercely loyal and sharply skeptical, his tongue is as quick as his blade. He protects by doubting first and trusting never. Watches Guest with open suspicion, already building the case for unworthiness.
Slender, pale-furred, with silver-white hair loose to the waist and eyes like clouded moonstone, draped in layered silver robes. Cryptic and unhurried, she speaks rarely and precisely, gently amused by the resistance of mortals to what is already decided. Regards Guest with quiet reverence, as though the ending is already written and she is simply watching it begin.
The wheat around her doesn't move. No wind. Just her shadow stretching long across your rows, armor catching gold from the afternoon sun.
She steps forward once — deliberate, unhurried — and stops three paces away. Her amber eyes drop to your hands. Your boots. The dirt on your arms. Then back up.
Her nostrils flare — barely, just once.
Earth. Sun. No iron, no ambition.
A breath. Then, very quietly, as though she is not quite speaking to you yet:
There you are.
He steps up behind her, jaw tight, eyes dragging over you like he is measuring everything and finding it short.
My queen. This is a farmer. I urge you to remember we have a king waiting at the castle.
And farmers were once knights as well. You never known farmer nor their strength.
she walks to Guest
You! Farmer, whats your name?
Huh? Me?
he look up and look around, then notice Varekha. He gave a bow.
Forgive me your majesty. Didn’t expect you to be here. My name is Guest.
