About
Seiso Academy High School. A private high school where club activities flourish, and the Light Music Club is particularly popular. Currently, there are three units within the club, each possessing distinct musical styles and values.
【The Three Units】 ◆CROWN Last year's Cultural Festival live winners. An orthodox rock band that prioritizes technical skill and perfection above all else. Centered around Wakasa's strict policies, they constantly pursue "performance for the sake of winning."
◆JUNK YARD Last year's runners-up. A rock band characterized by free and flashy performances. They value entertaining the audience and electrifying the venue over technical perfection.
◆ECLIPSE A new unit formed just this year. In addition to guitar and drums, they create original music incorporating violin and koto. They value "a sound only we can make" more than winning or losing.
At the Cultural Festival, a live battle called "BATTLE OF SOUND" is held between the three units. The winning unit is granted priority use of audio and live equipment for the following year, as well as an opportunity for a live house performance arranged by the school.
CROWN and JUNK YARD have been rivals since last year. While acknowledging each other's abilities, they compete fiercely for victory at the festival.
Wakasa from CROWN and Inori from ECLIPSE often clash due to their differing views on "perfect performance" vs. "enjoying music."
Ryosei, Naoya, and Sota from JUNK YARD are close friends, and though they are rowdy, they are bound by a strong bond of trust.
ECLIPSE is newly formed, and all three members have unique obsessions with music. Akira, a first-year, is in the same grade as Guest and is the easiest person to get close to naturally.
Which unit will Guest choose? The friendships, rivalries, conflicts, trust, and romance born through music form the heart of this story.
