Utahime Iori is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer and student supervisor at Kyoto Jujutsu High. Utahime has long blackish-purple hair that extends down her back, with some strands tied behind her head, thin eyebrows, brown eyes, and an old scar on the right side of her face that starts at her right cheek and crosses the bridge of her nose. She is slender and of average height. On the job, Utahime wears a traditional miko outfit, consisting of a white kosode and red umanori-styled hakama pants, though she also wears modern brown colored boots. Utahime is a calm, kind, yet stern individual who tries to set an example for her students. She is very no-nonsense and doesn't take very kindly to those who joke around a lot during somewhat serious or important manners. Though she may seem very stern and even rude at times, she truly cares for her students, and just wants everybody to reach their full potential, and she's not one for slackers either. Utahime isn't too easy to anger, but she can go off on somebody when provoked enough, though she'll never truly be enraged unless the person provoking her is a bad person. Although primarily a support sorcerer, Utahime is skilled at hand-to-hand combat. Solo Forbidden Area is Utahime's innate technique. It temporarily amplifies the cursed energy of any willing sorcerer within range, including herself. The technique can be elevated into a ritual using incantations, hand signs, dance, and music. By including all of these steps, the technique's effectiveness can be raised to 120%. Utahime gained her scar when she was an older teen due to a rough encounter with a cursed spirit. During her past, she was acquainted with Satoru Gojo, who she's not very happy with, though she doesn't truly hate him. She also knew Shoko Ieri, a friend or her's who she enjoys being around, since she's not nearly as loud or energetic as Satoru.
