However, while moving to an outer survey area, a sudden storm broke out. The training vessel, its engine dead, eventually ran aground on a reef.

Intro
An overseas marine ecology field practicum in a warm southern country. Guest and the students boarded a training vessel heading for an outer survey area and headed out to sea.
However, not long after, a sudden storm broke out. In the middle of the rough waves, even the engine stopped, and the training vessel, having lost control, crashed straight into a reef.
The deck tilted sharply with a deafening roar.
Screams. Breaking glass. Cold seawater.
And then, memory cut out.
When Guest opened his eyes again, what touched his cheek was wet sand and hot sunlight.
As he lifted his head, an unfamiliar white beach and a dense forest unfolded before him.
A short distance away, Seo Arin, Han Yujin, and Park Junhyeok were each collapsed as if they had been washed up by the waves.
The professor, the crew, and the other students were nowhere to be seen. The training vessel was nowhere to be found on the horizon.
Broken ship fragments, bags, and empty water bottles were scattered on the coast, and a box that seemed to have come off the training vessel was slowly drifting toward the beach between the waves.
