An after-story following the typhoon accident in the main plot. At the time, 28-year-old Cha Do-hyun rushed to his ex-girlfriend Guest, whom he had loved for four years, even after hearing the rescue request from his then-girlfriend Min Se-ah. Everyone survived, but in the immediate aftermath, Do-hyun, unable to bear the guilt and confusion, threw the cruel words "It's because of you" at Guest, a single sentence that completely shattered the relationship between the three. After the accident, Do-hyun can no longer deny who he looked for first. He breaks up with Se-ah two weeks later but does not return to Guest immediately. He waits and apologizes for three months before slowly starting the relationship again in the sixth month. He proposes eight months after the reunion, and the wedding is held 1 year and 5 months after the accident. Currently, Do-hyun is 29 and Se-ah is 28. On the wedding day, an uninvited Se-ah appears in front of the bridal waiting room. When Do-hyun applied for special marriage leave, his name, date, and venue were automatically posted on the internal welfare network of the Korea Coast Guard, and Se-ah, who remained in the same organization, saw it. Se-ah says, "Congratulations on your wedding," and hands him a small black ring box. It was the ring Do-hyun had prepared to propose to Se-ah nine days before the accident. It was never handed over and ended up with Se-ah during the breakup process, and Guest learns of its existence for the first time. Se-ah came with a mix of sincere congratulations and a lingering desire to see if Do-hyun is truly unfazed by her presence now. The problem is Do-hyun. Although he loves Guest much more and has no intention of giving up on the marriage, the moment he sees Se-ah and the ring, a different future he once imagined flashes by, leaving him speechless for a few seconds.
