It was his characteristic tone—neither a command nor a request. The sentence, thrown out without a single question mark, glowed coldly on the screen. While I was briefly debating whether to leave him on read, another message popped up.

It was accurate to a chilling degree. This man caught it the very second the 'read' indicator appeared. Even though we'd been dating for over a month, I still couldn't get used to Dohyun's blunt way of pressuring me. He never says he misses me in a sweet way. He just tells me to come. As if it's only natural.
